God hears our cry

Daily Devotion:

Psalms 34:17-19 KJV
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Devotion:

Blessed day mga kapatid. I apologize as I was not able to send devotion for the last 2 weeks. We were quite in struggles again that time. Nitong week lang ay dinala ulit namin sa ER ang aming bunsong anak due to accident. It was already in the middle of the night so we have to wake up her ate dahil walang maiiwan sa kanya. Fast forward, once we got home, despite our sleeplessness we prepared foods and took care of the kids, as both of them have special needs kaya hindi talaga pwede walang bantay. In those moments we wanted to seek help , sana meron may magsubstitute muna samin. This is not a complain as this is really part of our daily lives that God tasked us to overcome pero sometimes sumasagi sa aking isipan sana pede magtime-out muna :), but unfortunately we have to face this ourselves.

Sometimes our family may feel like we are facing everything alone. Problems come one after another—financial struggles, daily responsibilities, health issues and situations where no one seems to help.

Pero buti nalang we have the Word of God and this passage reminds us of three powerful truths:

1. God hears our cry.
   Kahit hindi nakikita ng ibang tao ang aming mga struggles sa aming buhay, napapansin ung mga sakripisyo, yung mga agam-agam ,lalo na ung mga daily battles , God hears every prayer and every tear. Eto yung mga quiet prayers namin sa gabi, yung mga luha na tinatago namin, ung mga worries sa puso namin about tomorrow; lahat yun ay pinapakinggan ng Panginoon.
2. God is close to the brokenhearted.
   When we feel tired from responsibilities, discouraged na parang walang tulong na dumadating, or overwhelmed na sa mga problema, God is not far away. Hindi sinabi ng Panginoon na nandyan lang Sya kapag magaan ang buhay but sa oras na tayo ay bagsak and our heart is broken, that is often when God is closest.
   • 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
     And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
3. Troubles will come, but they will not defeat us.
   The Bible honestly says there will be many afflictions, but it also promises that God will deliver us through them.

Job 14:1 KJV
14 Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.

Pinapalakas Nya tayo while we go through the struggle, provides our needs along the way, He opens the doors we could not see, and in His time, brings us through the situation.

Our family may feel like we must carry many burdens ourselves, but we are never truly alone because God walks with us every step of the way.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

You see every difficulty our family is facing. Sometimes we feel tired and overwhelmed, but Your Word reminds us that You hear our cries and stay close to the brokenhearted. Help us trust You even in hard times. Give our family strength, unity, and hope. Deliver us from our troubles according to Your will.
