Blessed day mga kapatid, habang ang mundo ay sumusunod sa traditions or nakagawian sa ganitong panahon (ung iba nagpepenitensya, gumagaya sa ginawa ni Jesus, nagpapako), we as followers of Jesus must spearhead and reflect most of what God have done for us. We often focus on the cross. But before the cross, there was preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus didn\u2019t walk into suffering unprepared. In the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed. He wrestled. He surrendered. And from His example, we learn three simple but powerful lessons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, preparation starts with prayer. Before facing the cross, Jesus went to the Father.
In the same way, bago natin harapin ang mga problema o mga pagsubok, mga decisions lalo na ung mga mag-iiba talaga ng direksyon ng buhay ng mo at inyong pamilya, manalangin muna tayo, hindi lang pagkatapos, hindi lang habang nasa gitna kana ng kalbaryo, bagkus bago mo pa harapin ang mga iyon, manalangin muna tayo sa Panginoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second, preparation requires surrender. Jesus said, \u201cNot my will, but thine, be done.\u201d
Ito siguro ang karamihan satin ay nahihirapan gawin. Sa problema, madaling sabihin na isurrender, pero if yung mga plans, desires, and expectations natin, dito tayo nahihirapan isurrender sa Panginoon. Mahirap man mga kapatid, but true strength comes when we trust God\u2019s will over our own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third, preparation gives us strength to endure.
Jesus was able to face the cross because His heart was already aligned with the Father.
When we are spiritually prepared, hindi ibig sabihin challenge-free na tayo, in reality, mas nilalapitan pa tayo ng problema dahil pilit tayo ding pinapahina ng ating mga kalaban. But be not weary mga kapatid, we won\u2019t face them alone or unready, we have God that provides us our daily strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katulad ko mga kapatid, whatever you are going through right now:
Pray about it
Surrender it to God
Trust Him with the outcome<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank You for the giving Jesus as our Savior. We thank you as well for giving us example through Him. Teach us to prepare our hearts through prayer and surrender. Help us trust Your will, especially when it\u2019s hard. Strengthen us for whatever we may face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
