Deuteronomy 6:10-12 KJV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10\u00a0And it shall be, when the\u00a0Lord\u00a0thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11\u00a0And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

12\u00a0Then beware lest thou forget the\u00a0Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blessed day mga kapatid, today we will be discussing about not forgetting God even at rest. Recently our family had our vacation somewhere. It was a good one, and we really enjoyed it. Although nakakapagod, but for me and my wife, we somehow got a break from mental stress and itago nalang natin sa term na nakatakas hehe. Although kasama padin naman namin ang aming mga anak, we some how manage to escaped from daily grind of work and worries about our kid\u2019s health (thats because almost everymonth salitan lang ang mga anak ko sa sakit). This fast few days na medyo kalamado ang aming pamumuhay, we are really thankful to God for the provisions and guidance He is giving us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Deuteronomy 6:10\u201312, God told His people that He was bringing them into a good land, a place they did not build, with blessings they did not earn. They would have houses, food, and rest after a long time of difficulty. But then God said something very important in verse 12: \u201c<\/em>Beware lest thou forget the Lord.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinabi ito ng Panginoon dahil kilalang-kilala nya ang puso ng tao. Kapag mahirap ang buhay, naaalala natin sya, but when life becomes easier, we slowly forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a family, we should understand this in a real way, also as a father and leader , I should always remind them about this. There were many weeks when sickness kept coming back. It was tiring, stressful, and sometimes even discouraging. During those times, we prayed. We asked God for help. Alam namin sa aming sarili namin, lalo na kaming magasawa na kailanagn namin ang Panginoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as of now, things feel different. Sa ngayon medyo nasa kapahingahan kami. Everyone feels okay and our home somehow feels more peaceful and this is exactly what those verses are talking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God has allowed us to experience this rest, hindi dahil deserve or in-earned natin ito, but because He is good at inaalagaan Nya tayo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exodus 33:14 KJV:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 11:28 KJV:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come unto me, all ye that labo<\/em>ur and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaya naman satin na nakakaranans ng kapahingahan, let this be a reminder na huwag natin kakalimutan ang Panginoon. Mas maganda kapag inaalala natin ang ating Panginoon habang tayo ay masigla, walang sakit , while were resting and things are calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thank you for the challenges that you are giving us to honed us especially for the rest and comfort. This shows your compassion and love toward us even though we dont deserve it. Please guide us Panginoon and have our heart and mind to always be reminded of your goodness and mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
