Blessed Day mga kapatid. Today we live in a moment unlike any in human history. Noong araw, napapanood ko lang sa mga movies yung mga computer kayang makipagusap sa tao na para bang buhay. Now a days, machine can really write, create and even converse. Even in my line of work, AI really shape my role as an engineer, from days of grinding to produce a working set of codes to hours of managing this new technology to ship a working application. Artificial intelligence is no longer science fiction but now it is becaoming the language of our age.
And yet the Bible, libong taon na nakakalipas ng maisulat ito, sinasabi na agad dito ano ang kakahinatnan ng bagong technology na ito na ating ginagamit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I was studying this said technology, I was fascinated kung gaano na kalayo ang narating ng tao lalo na when it comes to software engineering. Somehow, the underlying technology behind the AI, almost really copy how the human mind works. The early engineers who started this even undergo with human anatomy studies. Now a days, many are very optimistic on the growth of AI and it’s usage, and many are also in fear of it, some are scared that they may lose their jobs because it might replace them (actually isa na ko sa nangaba noon dito hehe). But, the thing that caught my attention, is an article about how does it affect some believers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some believers, believe that this might some initial movement on whats coming a head in relevance to the anti-christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suddenly, I remember something from what happened in the past according to the scriptures. Kung ating susuriin mga kapatid, God has a consistent pattern with human ambition. He allows it to grow, and then, at the appointed time, He draws the line. The question for every believer today is not whether God is surprised by AI ’cause obviously, He is not. Kug titignan natin ang pattern,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve was tempted because they desire as well to be like God. Ang nangyari, pinalayas sila sa garden.
Tower of Babel, they have no restraint, meron silang isang language at isang ambisyon, hindi na nila sinasaaalang alang ang Panginoon, ang nangyari, God confused their language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parallels to Babel are not coincidental. Ito ay halimbawa ng Panginoon sa atin. AI today unites the world under one technological language, breaks down barriers between nations, and pushes the boundaries of what humans can imagine and accomplish. God noticed this at Babel, at siguardo akong nanonood ngayon ang Panginoon sa mga kaganapan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acts 15:18 KJV
Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

None of this should cause fear for those who are in Christ. The same God who scattered Babel, who held back the waters of the Red Sea, who raised Christ from the dead , sya padin ang ating Panginoon who has already declared the end from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mga kapatid, sa ngayon kaliwa’t kanan na ang mga balita about AI. Now every breakthrough in technology, every step toward a more connected and controlled world is not a reason to panic, it is all our sign. We should be rejoicing instead because our redemption draweth nigh \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, probably sa ating buhay wala naman masama kung gagamitin natin itong mga technologies na ito para makatulong sa ating buhay, but the question is baka naman sumusobra tayo na we even rely on this for our decisions rather than asking for God’s wisdom and guidance?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forgive us for the times we have trusted in the works of human hands more than in Your Word. Panginoon, no amount of technology, no system, no invention of human can undo Your purposes. Give us discernment in this age of great knowledge and great deception. Let us not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
